WinAVI Video converter is a multi-format video converter for Windows. Like so many video converters before, this application will take care of pretty much all your converting needs. However, this is not a free application. It supports most common formats and, of course, formats like AVI, MPEG1/2/4, CD/SVCD/DVD, DivX, XVid, ASF, WMV, RM, QuickTime MOV, and Flash SWF are there. Using this application, you are going to be able to open a video file and convert it to any of the supported output formats. WinAVI Video Converter supports batch-mode processing, so you can fire up the application, load several of your files, and convert them all simultaneously. You can change several settings for file, too. You can change the bitrates, aspect ratio, you can even crop and trim your videos. WinAVI has an encoding engine that is proprietary by nature, and it is supposed to be one of the fastest around. But for small files, the speed gains are really not noticeable. You can even convert your videos to DVD.
